Peaceful Cafe & Patio w/ Barista Service

Our patio space is ideal for a range of events and gatherings, but celebrations are its sweet spot—birthdays, bridal showers, and receptions. We've also hosted high school poetry slams and 2nd-grade read-a-thons in support of schools in the neighborhood. This all comes with the option for drinks crafted and curated by people that obsess about that kind of stuff.

We love our space best when it is benefitting our community and supporting celebrations, families and artists. It is perfect for those looking for a casual, comfortable East Bay spot. If it's important to your gathering to offer beverages made by skilled baristas, coffee roasted down the street in Emeryville, or beer from local breweries (Fieldwork Beer and East Brothers Beer), that's our specialty. We also carry a full line of 4Track tea sourced and blended in the family. Wine from Campovida Winery is our local choice and a small selection is available on request. We offer a wide selection of bakery and sweet treats from Third Culture Bakery (Mochi Muffins!), Craftsman + Wolves (Pastries!), and Boichik Bagels (Yum!) that can be selected in advance for your gathering.

Parties are the perfect take on our patio. It's also good for meetings where fresh air is a must. The space has 2 large picnic tables and benches, succulent plantings, a shade sail and string lights for evening events. This little urban oasis can be rented out any time or day of the week while the cafe is open, or after hours. If rented after hours, pricing includes 1 barista. For large parties, additional baristas are available for an extra fee. Cleaning fee includes basic closing and garbage fees. Additional cleaning fees may apply depending on event details.

Drinks are extra and can be ordered in advance or at the bar. We’re happy to set up coffee carafes, make espresso drinks or pastry platters. We're located near the Cal campus and North Berkeley Bart station.
